About Me
Resourceful, results-driven IT Professional with a wide range of skill-sets.
I have played a few support roles in IT. Initially, four years of Software development, primarily serving Configuration Management functions as well as some light task-driven programming. My first language was Core Java, but along the way have become quite fond of Python. I am most comfortable with the bash scripting language, though and use it frequently while automating system tasks and maintenance. I do have a 1-2 year goal of landing System Administrator role preferably in a Linux environment. I do enjoy assisting small business owners with Website maintenance and setup and always make myself available for family when IT solutions are needed.
I served as a US Navy Search and Rescue Swimmer/Crew chief as my primary/secondary “Navy Enlistment Classification” and separated honorably after 5 years active duty rated Aviation Electrician’s Mate. I maintained all electrical/avionics systems on the HH/UH-46D helicopter and although I always enjoyed tinkering, military days were a major entry point to technical troubleshooting and early development of my resilient spirit which drives me toward solutions.
